Bay Area Golf

The Silicon Valley is a golfer’s mecca! There are enough private courses there to keep the most avid golfers busy for some time. It was difficult getting a definitive answer when asking about which courses were the most sought after!

I finally came up with Green Hills located only 20 minutes from San Francisco.

Designed in 1930 by the famed architect Dr. Alister MacKenzie, a Green Hills golfer is challenged and pampered by the absolutely magnificent condition of the fairways and greens and awed by the breath-taking views. Dr. MacKenzie traveled the globe and designed dozens of the world’s most prestigious golf courses. It has been said that only a handful of golf courses in the American West can match the superb condition of Green Hills Country Club.

We now have Leanna Tribiano heading up the series of 7 tournaments in the Bay Area. There will be six tournaments and a Tee Off all played before the end of July.

We’ll keep you posted on the dates as they are secured right after the first of the year.

I am sure Leanna will appreciate your help if you have any suggestions about playing in the Bay Area. She’s spent most of her time in the Silicon Valley and has been working with children’s programs.

Most of the set up work, including the corporate sponsorship can be done from anywhere, so it is great to have Leanna on the UBU team!
