With extensive experience as a Regional Marketing Manager for a major restaurant chain, my greatest joy was working with the Operations group to identify sales opportunities and assist them in promoting their restaurant at the local level. In 2009 I started my own business, Your Girl Friday LLC, where a large part of what I do is devoted to working with other small businesses to market themselves. Oftentimes small businesses may have a great marketing plan but do not have the time (or sometimes the inclination) to implement that plan – that’s where I come in, to sample product, “man” their trade show booth, distribute their marketing materials, and more. Not only is it great fun, it is very satisfying to see my clients achieve positive results from the execution of their plan.
